Jeff Posey
President & Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Posey is an owner, President & CEO of AlphaSix and has been employed in the Federal IT sector since 1993 where he started working at Falcon Microsystems/GTSI, a prominent Federal reseller. After GTSI, Jeff joined Hewlett-Packard, resulting in a very successful ten-year engagement calling on the Department of State, US Navy, Marines Corps, and the Department of Justice. In 2005, Jeff left HP to join Emtec (formerly Westwood Computer Corporation), where he filled a variety of roles including Senior Account Manager, Federal Services Manager, and, lastly, spent two and a half years as Vice President managing the Federal Sales Organization.
Mark Hughes
Chief Strategy Officer
Mark Hughes is an owner and CSO for AlphaSix. Mark started with Federal Data Corporation, a Federal Systems integrator, in 1987 and has since held positions with a number of IT manufacturers including Everex, Acer, and Hewlett-Packard. During his 13 year employment with HP, Mark held roles as an end user sales rep, a channel sales rep, strategic program manager for SLED and corporate sales, and as a sales manager for SLED and DOD sales. His last position was with Emtec as the Director of DOD Sales.
Stephen Moore
Chief Technology Officer
Stephen started working in Federal Government contracting in 1995 at The MITRE Corporation. At MITRE, he supported multiple Department of Defense customers in multiple various computer security areas including intrusion detection and forensics. In 2000, Stephen became one of the founders and CTO of Crucial Security, Inc. He spent 12 years at Crucial Security supporting the Department of Justice by leading teams in the areas of software and application development, systems engineering, and information security. His last position was as Director of Engineering and Program Manager for Harris, which acquired Crucial Security in 2009.
Leigh Barnhill
Chief Financial Officer
Leigh has a strong career in federal IT including prior CFO roles at Omni federal, USfalcon and financial VP roles at Bennet Aerospace and GDIT. His experience and knowledge supporting federal IT firms will be a valuable asset to AlphaSix. Leigh is responsible for managing the financial actions of a company. His duties include tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.
Kristin Cooke
Senior VP, Growth
With over 30 years of experience driving success in federal market growth at industry leaders such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Unisys and Acuity, Kristin spearheads AlphaSix's strategic development initiatives to expand its impact across federal agencies. Kristin leads AlphaSix's long-term growth strategy, working collaboratively with technical and business teams to position the company for continued success in the evolving federal landscape. Her focus includes expanding AlphaSix's presence in key agencies such as the Department of Treasury, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Justice, while exploring opportunities in new federal markets.
Albert Villar
VP, Engineering
Al has 30 years of experience in IT, and the last 16 years has been in the U.S. Federal space supporting several agencies and programs. Al’s extensive technology background supported by broad industry knowledge in strategic planning, design, and implementation in enterprise environments. Architect of flexible enterprise policies, strategies, business operations and technical solutions promoting growth and scalability of emerging technologies while managing costs and project objectives. Responsible for pre-sales and post-sales technical solutions, designs & implementations.
Chris DeVault
VP, Services
Chris has over 30 years of experience managing operations in federal market services and products integrators such as Tresys Technology, EMC and Internosis. He leads AlphaSix's services initiatives including financial management and planning, services pricing, and recruiting/hiring. He also works closely with engineering on process initiatives throughout the company. Chris is passionate about enabling organizations to execute their core mission efficiently and effectively. This includes ensuring that the company has a clear and cogent path to profitability and success, that employees are performing the jobs where they can best serve their firm as well as their career, and that the business has clear operational controls in place to learn and improve day-to-day.
